We started our 4th of July weekend a little early. We were hosting a Dutch Oven Pizza Dinner and outdoor movie on Thursday, July 2nd. My sister and her family were here from California and my sister-in-law and her family were her from Colorado, so we decided to have a big party. The weather did not cooperate. It rained (no it poured) so we decided to move the party to Ophir and it was beautiful. We cooked the dutch oven pizzas, made homemade root beer and put it in special 4th of July bottles I made labels for. Then we watched the movie Inkheart inside the house. We still had a great time even if the weather didn't cooperate.
Friday we just had a lazy day. We were off work and didn't have to be any where, it was wonderful! We went down to G&G Quinn's for dinner and then the girls all went and got manicures and pedicures. They were wonderful!
Saturday we were in the Tooele Parade. We had 10 kids and 5 adults in the back of the 1950 Ford Dump Truck . Rory drove the truck and Rhonda rode in the front with him. We all had a great time throwing candy and the weather was overcast and cool. It was really quite nice. After the parade we went with all the Quinn's to lunch at Applebees. After lunch we went home for a while and then off to Ophir for dinner with the Bunn family for a BBQ. (I forgot to take pictures) We had hamburgers and hot dogs. After the BBQ we went back down to Stansbury for our annual fireworks show put on by Braxton, Alyssa and Makala. They have a great time lighting the fireworks. After their little show we watched the Grantsville City fireworks from the Quinn's sun room and then went home.
