Valentines Date

Friday, February 12, 2010

Rory bought us tickets to a community couples night featuring speaker John Bytheway and his wife Kim.  It was held at the Eagles Nest at the Army Depot and they served a prime rib dinner buffet.  Several couples from our ward came as well.  The Smith's, Smart's, Schoefield's, Shield's, and Matthew's.  After dinner the Bytheways spoke together on marriage and family relationships, they were fun to listen to about their lives and the challanges they face together in their marriage.  After they spoke they had a DJ with dancing and a chocolate fountain.  We danced one dance and then realized we were home all alone for the night, because Braxton was at scout camp so we decided we would go to the late movie Valentines Day.  We had a great time together and with some of our friends.

This was a good movie to see with your honey.

This is John and Kim Bytheway.
We went to the dinner a little early hoping that John would be there early so I could talk to him. Braxton found out that we were going to this dinner and he was speaking and asked if I could get his books he had of John Bytheway's autographed.  Lucky for us they arrived early and I was able to talk to them for a few minutes and John autographed and wrote a short message to Braxton in each of the books.  Brax was really excited about it when he got home from scout camp.
