We decided to give Braxton a BIG surprise for opening day of baseball. Brock has never been able to see Braxton play baseball, because Brock left for college in California (2003) and has been in CA ever since Braxton first started playing baseball and his schedule has never worked out to be able to come for a game. So Rory and I decided to fly Brock in for opening day of baseball to surprise Braxton!!! I pick Brock up from the airport around 2:20 pm, this gave us just enough time to drive directly to Braxton's school to surprise him. We walked into the school and the kids were in an assembly, so we waited in the front of the school and watched for Braxton to come out. We only had to wait 5 minutes or so. He was walking down the hall and noticed me and said "What are you doing here?" He just looked pasted Brock for a couple of seconds and then he realized who was standing next to me and the look on his face was priceless. He was really excited to see Brock and was wondering what he was doing here. So we told him that he came up to see him play baseball on opening day! We went home and met Rory at the house, had some dinner and then went to the Jr. High to hit some baseballs. Brock gave Braxton some hitting pointers and he actually listened and then we went to Cold Stone for some ice cream, what a great night!!!
