Scout & Suberbowl Sunday

Sunday, February 7, 2010
This past Sunday was Scout Sunday at church.  All of the boys and men involved in scouting wear their uniforms to honor the Boy Scouts of America program.  This year is the 100th birthday of scouting in America.

The poser.

SUPERBOWL 2010
This year we went to Ophir for our annual Superbowl party.  We had G&G Bunn, us and the Bunn's.  Grandma Quinn was sick and so were two of the Filions.  We had pulled pork sandwiches, cold slaw, beans, veggies, chips and dip and chocolate cake with strawberries and whipped cream for desert.  Dinner was good and so was the game for a change.  Half of us were cheering for the Saints and the other half for the Colts.  But the Saints prevailed in the end and won for the first time ever 31 to 17.
The Superbowl spread.

Just before the game started.
We bought this chocolate cake at Costco.  It was wonderful!
Some of the football fans enjoying the game.
