For recipe group this time we all went to dinner at Applebee's. We had almost everyone to dinner except for Sharon and Jenie who now lives in CA. We started out as a Family Home Evening group about 18 years ago with 12 members. After a few years of doing the Family Home Evening group and accumulating hundreds of FHE lessons we chaged to a recipe group that never seems to get old. We each bring a food item to taste, along with the recipe. Some months we have a theme and others are just what ever you would like to bring. We take turns hosting the group and at Christmas we exchange gifts, which everyone always looks forward to. I have three large binders filled with recipes and these are my favorite recipe books. Some of the group members have changed over the years, but we still have six of the original members we started with. (Mollie, Jeniel, Stefanie, Linda, Sharon and Stacy) When we were at dinner and thinking back we could hardly believe that it had been that long, but we love to get together and have a great time with each other. When we started out we had very young families and now we have kids in college, out of college, married, on missions, in High School, Jr. High and grade school and even one is a grandma (Jeri). I LOVE these women and they have all become some of my very best friends over the years!! Mollie, Jeniel, Sharon, Stacy, Linda, Jeri, Dori, Shamane, Kari, Patti and Jenie.
